Accessibility

Reading is the whole point here, so the reading experience carries the most care: every chapter offers an appearance panel (the Aa button) with a choice of fonts, font colors, background themes, and a text-size stepper in exact pixels — the choices stick per device, signed in or not. The whole site switches between a dark and a light theme. Pages are built with semantic HTML — real headings, lists, labels, and buttons — so screen readers and keyboard navigation have real structure to work with, and controls carry accessible names. Text sits on high-contrast backgrounds in both themes, nothing autoplays, and nothing flashes.

This software has not been formally audited against WCAG or any other standard, so no conformance level is claimed. Known gaps: illustrations inside chapters carry only generic alternative text, not descriptions of what they show; and the optional content-protection features, if the operator enables them, can interfere with assistive tools that rely on text selection or copying — comment fields stay exempt, but tell the operator if a protection setting blocks your tooling.
